Brief: 

Regenerate outdoor basketball court in Brightlingsea.

create a large scale mural that covers the entire basketball court must be in accordance with sledgehammers team colours and branding:

• has a connection to the community

• incorporates brand colours somewhere (blue & white)

• high impact visuals, with brand logos.

Deliverables:

• Design a eye-catching, high impact mural

• Provide digital drafts for client approval before starting work

• Paint agreed mural on site within set timeline  

• Document the work and share on social media platforms

• Engage with local residents and sports team to curate a mural they can be proud of. 

• Clean, tidy and make good of site ready for final reveal

Using the seaside location as inspiration the court was designed with a nautical theme in mind, large planks of wood reminiscent of a shipwreck with a large kraken tentacles wrapping around the court. Sledgehammer logo at both ends with matching backboards.
